Anseong City Hosts 'Hometown Love Donation' Event with WeGive and Paik's Coffee

Paik’s Coffee 10,000 Won Voucher for Donors

Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province is holding a hometown donation partnership event until the end of the year in collaboration with WeGive, a private platform for the Hometown Love Donation Program, and Paik’s Coffee, a franchise under The Born Korea.

During the event period, every customer who donates at least 100,000 won through the Paik’s Coffee exclusive Hometown Love Donation Program event page will receive a 10,000 won Paik’s Coffee mobile voucher.

The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments other than the one listed on their resident registration. Donors can receive a full tax credit for donations up to 100,000 won, and a 16.5% tax credit for any amount exceeding 100,000 won when filing year-end taxes. Donors are also eligible to receive local specialty products as gifts worth up to 30% of their donation amount.

Additional donor benefits are distributed sequentially every Friday and, if Friday falls on a public holiday, will be provided on the next business day. Participation in the event can be checked through the ‘Donation History’ section in the My Page menu on the WeGive platform.
