This sponsorship was made possible as part of Korea Gas Corporation's social contribution initiatives. The Daegu Council on Social Welfare planned the "Hope-On Seo-gu Junior Scholarship Support Project," while the Seo-gu District Office supported beneficiary recruitment and the organization of the donation ceremony, contributing to the project's successful implementation.

Ahn Junyoung, Head of Win-Win Cooperation at Korea Gas Corporation, stated, "Korea Gas Corporation has been striving to coexist with the local community through initiatives such as city gas bill discounts for low-income households and projects to improve thermal efficiency. As a public corporation contributing to the national economy and the people, we will continue to fulfill our mission of delivering dreams and hope to the local community and our less privileged neighbors."

Ryu Hankook, Mayor of Seo-gu District, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Korea Gas Corporation and the Daegu Council on Social Welfare for sharing such a warm gift with the youth of Seo-gu as the year comes to a close. This support will be a great source of comfort and strength to our young people."

The donated scholarships were distributed to 60 low-income youth households in the Seo-gu area, with each household receiving 500,000 won, as recommended by local administrative welfare centers.
