Six Short-Form Videos Selected as Final Winners in the 2025 Geochang Tourism Contest

Award-Winning Videos Featuring Nine Major Tourist Attractions
To Be Actively Used for Tourism Promotion

Geochang County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on November 12 that it has selected six short-form videos as the final winners in the ‘2025 Geochang Tourism Contest,’ which was held from June to September.

This contest was divided into two categories: the ‘Hidden Geochang Travel Course’ section, which featured recommended courses for groups of up to five people, including families, for trips of at least two days and one night, highlighting lesser-known tourist attractions, restaurants, accommodations, and experiences; and the ‘Short-Form Video’ section, which showcased Geochang’s nine major tourist sites in 60-second videos, presenting them as healing destinations.

As a result of the judging, no winners were selected in the ‘Hidden Geochang Travel Course’ category, as the entries were evaluated as being ordinary courses focused mainly on existing tourist sites and restaurants. For the short-form video category, a second round of online voting was conducted for nine works that passed the first round of judging, and the six winners were finally selected based on the highest combined scores: one Grand Prize, two Excellence Prizes, and three Encouragement Prizes.

The winning entries are as follows: Grand Prize - "Geochang, Embracing the Heart"; Excellence Prizes - "Satisfying All Five Senses! Geochang’s Nine Scenic Spots," "Best 9 Geochang Travel Courses"; Encouragement Prizes - "Magnificent Geochang, Visit the Nine Scenic Spots," "A Must-Visit! The Best Collection of Geochang’s Nine Scenic Spots in South Gyeongsang," and "A Place Where Mystery and Beauty Coexist, Geochang’s Nine Scenic Spots."

The selected videos captured all nine of Geochang’s representative tourist sites within 60 seconds, and have been praised for stimulating the desire to visit with just a short video and vividly expressing the charm of ‘Geochang, a Healing Tourist Destination.’

Meanwhile, Geochang County plans to post the six winning videos on its tourism Instagram, YouTube channel, and official website, and to utilize them in various ways at future events and festivals to maximize tourism promotion.
