Operation of Traffic Control Center
Deployment of Traffic Guides Around Test Sites
Ulsan City will implement special transportation measures to ensure smooth transit for test-takers during the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test, which will be held on November 13.
This year, there are 11,623 test-takers in the Ulsan area, who will take the exam at 26 testing sites within the city. On the day of the exam, a significant increase in traffic is expected as students, parents, and supervisors travel to and from the test sites.
In response, Ulsan City will operate a traffic control center to manage traffic conditions, provide real-time information, and respond to emergencies. The city will also establish an emergency contact system with district offices, the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency, and the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education to ensure a swift response.
Additionally, police officers, public officials, and volunteers will be stationed around the test sites to guide vehicles carrying test-takers, control vehicle entry and exit within 200 meters of the test sites, and provide parking guidance.
City buses passing by the 26 test sites will display notices indicating "College Scholastic Ability Test Site Service," and buses will operate on time with adherence to scheduled intervals to support the smooth movement of test-takers.
During the listening comprehension section, noise from vehicles around the test sites will be controlled, and adjustments will be made to aircraft and train operations to minimize noise.
An official from Ulsan City stated, "We will do our utmost to manage traffic so that students who have prepared diligently can arrive at the test sites safely and comfortably," and added, "We ask that drivers around the test sites cooperate in reducing noise, such as refraining from using car horns, so that test-takers can fully concentrate on the exam."
