On November 7, Yeongam County in South Jeolla Province hosted a special lecture at the county office, inviting Kim Yongik, Chairman of the Care and Future Foundation, to speak on the theme "The Future Changed by Care, Our Role."

This special lecture was held in conjunction with the regular November briefing, aiming to enhance public officials' understanding of the integrated care policy and to strengthen practical implementation in the field. In particular, it served as a meaningful opportunity to explore the direction for establishing a municipality-centered integrated care system and to discuss the roles of public officials in response to the increasing demand for care caused by the rapid transition to an aging society.

Chairman Kim Yongik emphasized, "Care is not just a part of welfare, but a crucial task that determines the sustainability of local communities," adding, "It is essential to build a care ecosystem where the public sector, private sector, and residents work together so that everyone can continue to live a dignified life in their own communities."

Yeongam County is currently focusing on the "Warm Care Yeongam-All Care" integrated care policy, which centers on establishing a local care network through public-private cooperation and advancing systems for identifying and connecting care recipients.

Woo Seunghee, Mayor of Yeongam County, stated, "Taking this special lecture as an opportunity, we will strengthen interdepartmental collaboration and field-oriented integrated care," and added, "We will continue to promote customized integrated care policies so that all county residents can lead safe and happy lives within the community."
