On November 10, Minister of Justice Chung Sungho arrived at the Ministry of Justice building in Gwacheon for work. On his way to work that day, Minister Chung expressed his position regarding the decision to forgo an appeal in the Daejang-dong case. Minister Chung stated, "Since a sentence higher than the prosecution's request was handed down, we determined that not filing an appeal would not be an issue."
