This year, a total of 3,731 students will take the exam at seven test centers in Gwangjin District, including Konkuk University High School and Gwangnam High School. The district has held joint meetings with relevant organizations such as the Seongdong-Gwangjin Office of Education, Gwangjin Police Station, and Gwangjin Fire Station to establish comprehensive support measures covering all areas, including traffic, noise, and youth protection.

On the day of the test, the district will operate a “Test-taker Transportation Support Situation Room” from 6:00 a.m. until the entrance deadline at 8:10 a.m. Thirty staff members will be stationed at six subway stations within the district-Junggok, Achasan, Gangbyeon, Guui, Gwangnaru, and Konkuk University Entrance-to provide emergency transportation using administrative vehicles. In addition, in cooperation with the Gwangjin Model Drivers’ Association, traffic control will be conducted at intersections near test centers, and illegally parked vehicles on nearby roads will be closely monitored and guided to facilitate the movement of test-takers.

Advance notices will be sent to construction sites and noise-generating businesses near test centers, and all noise-producing work will be suspended on the day of the test. Dedicated personnel will be assigned to each test center to strengthen patrols and inspections.

After the exam, intensive inspections will be conducted at food and beverage establishments such as emotional pubs and beer halls, where youths may gather, to ensure compliance with bans on youth entry and alcohol provision. Joint inspection teams from the Gwangjin Police Station, sanitation inspectors, and the district office will patrol these sites and distribute related notices.

Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, stated, “I would like to offer words of encouragement to all students and parents who have worked hard in preparation for the exam,” and added, “We will do our utmost to support all test-takers so that they can fully demonstrate their abilities in a safe and calm environment until the day of the exam.”
