Since 2017, the county has operated this program nine times, with a total of approximately 230 participants to date. This year's tour included 22 people who moved to Jangheung County after January 1 of this year. Participants visited local attractions such as the Ahn Jung-geun Memorial History Museum, Borimsa Temple, and the Han Seungwon Literature School. In particular, they visited the literature school and walking trail of Han Seungwon, a local writer and the father of author Han Kang, to experience the cultural depth of Jangheung.
County Governor Kim Sung stated, "This tour is not just a simple sightseeing program; it is designed so that new residents can directly experience the charm and identity of Jangheung and feel a sense of belonging as members of the local community." He added, "We will implement a variety of support policies to ensure the stable settlement of new residents."
