CJ ENM announced on November 6 that a retrospective of Director Park Chanwook will be held at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles (LA), United States.

Founded in 1984, the American Cinematheque is a nonprofit film organization that covers a wide range of films, including classics, art films, and diverse cinema. It has consistently hosted retrospectives and film festivals highlighting the major works of directors from around the world.

The upcoming retrospective, which will run from November 16 to December 6, will feature Park's representative films, including the recently released "No Other Choice," as well as "Joint Security Area JSA" (2000), "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" (2002), "Oldboy" (2003), "Lady Vengeance" (2005), and "The Handmaiden" (2016).

Director Park and actor Lee Byunghun will attend the screenings of "No Other Choice" on November 16 and "Joint Security Area JSA" on December 6 to meet with the audience in person.

Meanwhile, "No Other Choice" tells the story of Mansu (played by Lee Byunghun), an office worker who was once content with his life but, after being laid off, embarks on a fierce job-hunting battle to protect his family and home.
