Gore Robotics, a company specializing in automation solutions for construction and residential environments, announced on the 6th that it has received Innovation Awards in three categories at CES 2026, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition.
The products from Gore Robotics that won the CES Innovation Awards are as follows: 'ND-3' in the Artificial Intelligence category, 'AA-2' in the Robotics category, and 'EVW-1' in the Smart Communities category-a total of three awards.
The ND-3, which received the award in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) category, is an AI-powered robot designed for material transport and progress monitoring at construction sites. ND-3 utilizes a unique quadrupedal design to directly lift and carry heavy materials within its frame. Equipped with advanced physical AI, as well as vision and navigation AI, the robot recognizes complex terrains, avoids obstacles, and uploads site data in real time, enabling AI to monitor project progress.
The AA-2, which won in the Robotics category, is a last-mile autonomous delivery robot for premium residential complexes. It addresses challenges such as fatigue from late-night deliveries, safety risks, and elevator congestion in high-end apartments and mixed-use complexes where privacy and convenience are paramount. Featuring a pneumatic tube frame, the AA-2 is extremely lightweight and energy-efficient, and its flexible materials absorb impacts to ensure safe operation even at night. It can complete contactless deliveries to up to three households in a single trip, and after use, it deflates itself to minimize its volume for storage.
The EVW-1, recipient of the Innovation Award in the Smart Communities category, is a universal elevator interface for robots, enabling existing conventional elevators to be integrated with robots without any retrofitting. By simply attaching the EVW-1 to the elevator panel, robots can freely use the elevator without the need to convert tens of millions of existing elevators into smart elevators. Compatible with all elevator systems regardless of brand or model, this core technology eliminates the vertical mobility barrier for robots, spanning construction sites, smart buildings, and last-mile delivery.
Regarding the CES Innovation Awards, Gore Robotics stated, "This is a recognition of our outstanding technological capabilities and creative mechanisms," adding, "We will further accelerate construction automation based on this achievement." The company also revealed plans to enter construction sites in the United States where Korean firms are currently undertaking projects, aiming to address the severe local labor shortages in the U.S. construction industry with AI-based automation solutions.
