The event was attended by 105 vocational high school teachers and officials from provincial and metropolitan offices of education across the country.

Ausbildung is a dual vocational education program jointly operated by the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and German automotive brands. Participants complete a 36-month curriculum that combines hands-on corporate training with university-level theoretical education in various fields such as general automotive maintenance, panel beating, painting, and service advisory.

Upon completing the Ausbildung program, trainees receive an associate degree and a certificate from the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, enabling them to grow into core technical talent for each company. Notably, for general automotive maintenance and painting roles, the Ausbildung qualification obtained in Korea is recognized as equivalent to that of the program in Germany.

This year's fair was specifically designed for education office officials and teachers, unlike last year's event, which targeted high school students. The focus was on enhancing the understanding of teachers who may be unfamiliar with the program due to regular personnel changes. Among the various roles, the service advisor position drew particular interest from commercial high school teachers, as its job characteristics offer career opportunities not only to students from technical schools but also from commercial schools.

Marie Antonia von Sch?nburg, Representative of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "I hope that vocational high school teachers will not only understand the Ausbildung system but also serve as a bridge by hearing firsthand from trainees, helping students design their career paths in a more realistic way."

Ha Sangcheol, Vice Principal of Gyeonggi Automotive High School, said, "Every year, many students from Gyeonggi Automotive High School participate in the Ausbildung program. As students actively take part in nurturing young talent for global brands, this is a great opportunity for them to grow into skilled professionals with global competitiveness."
