Jeonju City Publicly Recruiting Artists for 'Damjaengi Gallery Exhibition' Participation

Applications Accepted Until November 14
To Be Held at Seohak Art Village Library

The Seohak Art Village Library in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, is publicly recruiting local artists to participate in the "2026 Seohak Art Village Library Damjaengi Gallery Exhibition" until November 14.

According to the city on November 5, this open call aims to provide local artists with opportunities to exhibit and sell their works, while also offering citizens high-quality art experiences.


Eligible applicants are individual artists or teams who either reside in Jeonju or are primarily active in the Jeonju area. Through this open call, the city plans to select a total of nine artists or teams, whose works will be exhibited throughout next year.


Artists selected through the open call will be able to exhibit their works free of charge at the Damjaengi Gallery in the Seohak Art Village Library and will receive support for exhibition promotion material production costs.


Artists wishing to participate may apply via email, in person, or by mail. For more details, applicants can refer to the announcements posted on the Jeonju City and Jeonju City Library websites or inquire by phone.


Park Nammi, Director of the Jeonju City Library Lifelong Learning Headquarters, said, "I hope that the Seohak Art Village Library, as an art-specialized library, will serve as an opportunity for local artists and citizens to communicate through art and enjoy culture together."
