The ceremony was attended by President Shin Changho, executives and employees of the corporation, responsible construction project management engineers at affiliated construction sites, and site representatives. The participants jointly declared their commitment to making human rights the highest value and to establishing human rights management throughout the organization.

The newly proclaimed Human Rights Management Charter includes 11 fundamental principles: non-discrimination in employment, guaranteeing freedom of association and collective bargaining, prohibition of forced labor and child labor, responsible supply chain management, guaranteeing environmental rights, protection of the human rights of local residents and customers, and efforts to provide remedies, among others.

Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, stated, "With this declaration, we will firmly establish a culture of respect for human rights within our organization and further grow as a public corporation that leads the sustainable development of Busan."

Busan Urban Corporation also held a Human Rights Management Charter proclamation ceremony in January 2019.

This ceremony was organized to add management standards for partner companies to the charter, which was revised in 2023, and to reaffirm the management's commitment to human rights management.
