As the "chimaek meeting" (chicken and beer gathering) between Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor, and Lee Jayong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, at Kanbu Chicken has become a hot topic, inquiries about franchise opportunities have surged. In response, the headquarters has announced a temporary suspension of new franchise consultations. The company explained that it aims to focus on its core values and enhance customer satisfaction rather than pursuing reckless expansion.
On November 4, Kanbu Chicken posted an official notice stating, "We are temporarily suspending new franchise consultations." The company noted that, although many say, "You should row when the tide comes in," its policy is different.
Their primary focus is on staying true to their core values rather than expanding excessively. Kanbu Chicken stated, "We believe now is not the time to accelerate, but rather to further strengthen our commitment to quality, hygiene, service, and responsibility to franchisees and customers. Due to the recent surge in interest and inquiries, we are temporarily suspending new franchise consultations."
The company added, "Our top priority will be to protect the interests of existing franchisees and ensure stable logistics operations. We will move forward steadily, well-prepared and without haste, building on a solid foundation. We deeply appreciate your enthusiastic support and promise to return as an even stronger Kanbu Chicken."
