More Customers Visit the Famous Table for Commemoration
Reservation Requests Surge, Prompting Time Limit on Table Use
As more people sought out the chicken restaurant where Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, and Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, had met together, a notice was posted informing customers of a one-hour time limit for using that table. Previously, on October 30, this location drew attention as business leaders, including CEO Huang, gathered there. On the day of the meeting, crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the three executives, and the media also showed significant interest. Starting the next day, more people began visiting the table as a commemorative experience. In particular, since the meeting, the restaurant has seen a steady stream of "pilgrims" eager to experience the menu and seating arrangements exactly as they were during the gathering. Many visitors reportedly requested, "I want to sit where Jensen Huang sat."
In response, a notice was posted for customers wishing to use the table where the meeting took place. The notice reads, "For the benefit of everyone, the seating time at Jensen Huang's CEO table is limited to one hour," and includes a message: "We hope all visitors receive good energy." The owner appears to have implemented the time limit for promotional and management purposes. Reviews related to this location on domestic portal sites include comments such as, "With the delicious chicken from Kanbu Chicken, blessed by the energy of corporate leaders, our family is sure to thrive from now on," and "I'm here to receive good energy. Chairmen, please help me hit it big, too," among others.

Meanwhile, beyond just this location, Kanbu Chicken is enjoying tremendous benefits from the recent gathering. News that Jensen Huang himself chose Kanbu Chicken as the meeting venue has led to a surge in orders. The Seongbok branch in Suji-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, which is the first and main store, had to temporarily close because it could not handle the volume of orders. A franchise owner in Seoul said, "After news broke that CEO Huang visited Kanbu Chicken, some customers came specifically for that reason," adding, "Sales have increased by at least 20%." On delivery applications, Kanbu Chicken has remained among the top trending search terms for several days, continuing the so-called "Jensen Huang effect."
