Reflects Military Welfare Facilities and Housing Management Fees
IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 4th that it launched the 'BOC (Blue Ocean navy&marine Card·Bok)' card, a specialized credit card for Navy and Marine Corps officers, on the 3rd. The card is available to Navy and Marine Corps officers, non-commissioned officers, and military civilian employees.
The card offers discounts such as 3% off payments at Navy and Marine Corps welfare facilities and for military housing management fees, 7% off KTX train tickets and fuel purchases, and 10% off telecommunications fees.
For military officers who may have difficulty using the card for extended periods due to training or other duties, a pre-registration system allows discounts to be applied for up to three months regardless of card usage performance.
To help revitalize local businesses, additional discounts are provided at restaurants in key Navy and Marine Corps garrison areas such as Pyeongtaek and Hwaseong, as well as on commemorative days like Armed Forces Day.
In addition, the card offers vouchers such as a 70,000 won statement discount at the Armed Forces Welfare Agency and access to airport lounge services. The annual fee is 99,000 won for domestic use (BC) and 100,000 won for international use (VISA). The maximum monthly combined discount limit is 50,000 won.
An IBK Industrial Bank representative stated, "This specialized card provides everyday benefits for Navy and Marine Corps officers," adding, "We will continue to reward the dedication of the military in national defense and take the lead in developing specialized products to enhance their welfare."
