Gijang County, Busan Recruiting Enumerators for 'Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Census'... Applications Accepted Until the 7th

A total of 45 positions available...
"Essential Data for Rural Policy, Responsible Participation Expected"

Gijang County (Governor Jeong Jongbok) is recruiting 45 enumerators to conduct on-site surveys for the 2025 Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Census until November 7.

The Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Census is a nationwide statistical survey conducted every five years, overseen by the National Data Office (formerly Statistics Korea) and implemented by local governments.

The census gathers data on the scale, management types, and structural changes of farming, forestry, and fishing households, serving as foundational data for policymaking in the agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sectors and for regional development strategies.

This recruitment will select 38 enumerators (including 3 reserve enumerators) and 7 survey managers and supervisors.

Enumerators will visit selected sample households to conduct the survey in person, while survey managers will be responsible for field survey operations and support work.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and reside in Korea, and anyone with responsibility and interest in statistical surveys is eligible to apply.

Applications can be submitted through the official Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Census website or in person at the Planning and Audit Office on the 3rd floor of Gijang County Office. Detailed information on the number of positions, application procedures, and more can be found on the county website.

Governor Jeong Jongbok stated, "The Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Census is an essential survey that provides the basis for policymaking in rural areas," and added, "We hope to see many responsible residents participate to faithfully represent the voices of farmers, foresters, and fishers."

This census will be conducted nationwide from November 20 to December 22, targeting agricultural, forestry, and fisheries households. Sampled households can participate first via an online survey from November 20 to December 10. For households that do not participate online, enumerators will visit them in person to conduct the survey from December 2 onward.
