Since 2009, the National Museum of Korea has invited international museum experts through the 'International Expert Exchange Program.' Over the past 16 years, 51 renowned experts from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Japan have been invited to share specialized knowledge and experience in their respective fields, thereby strengthening the museum's expertise.

This lecture, themed 'Developing and Utilizing Web-Based Museum Educational Materials for Diverse Audiences,' will focus on the operational case of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Dr. Goeser will share various practical experiences regarding the expansion and utilization strategies of online educational services, while also exploring directions for the field in Korea.

Dr. Caroline Goeser earned her master's degree (1989) and Ph.D. (2000) in art history from Rutgers University in the United States. She served at the University of Houston School of Art from 1997 to 2008, including as an associate professor, and also lectured as an adjunct associate professor at Case Western Reserve University. From 2009 to 2014, she was Head of Education and Interpretation at the Cleveland Museum of Art, and since 2014, she has led the Learning and Interpretation division at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, directing a variety of educational programs.

A representative from the National Museum of Korea expressed anticipation, stating, "We expect this will help expand the production of cultural heritage learning guides at the national museum and further enhance practical capabilities for distributing web-based educational materials for Korean galleries abroad."
