The police are accelerating their investigation into Kim Seui, CEO of Garosero Research Institute (Gaseyeon).
On November 3, Park Jeongbo, Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated at a regular press briefing, "We have received 21 complaints and accusations related to CEO Kim, and 16 of these cases have been assigned to the special investigation team."
Regarding suspicions of delayed investigation by the Gangnam Police Station into CEO Kim, he admitted, "It appears there were shortcomings in thorough management," and added, "I expect the pace will pick up going forward."
Previously, Eun Hyeonjang, who operates the YouTube channel 'Master of Business,' appeared before the National Assembly's Science, ICT, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee for a parliamentary audit and raised suspicions of delayed police investigations, stating, "There are 16 to 20 cases related to Mr. Kim piled up at Gangnam Police Station, but none of them are actually progressing."
Of the five cases related to actor Kim Soo-hyun, it has been confirmed that significant progress has been made. Commissioner Park explained, "The cases related to Kim Soo-hyun are being handled by the existing investigative team. Much of the investigation has been completed, and the confiscated items have been sent to the National Forensic Service, with analysis results currently pending."
