3km Course from Samcheong Park to Hanyangdoseong Trail
Jongno District in Seoul (Mayor Jung Moonhun) will hold the 82nd Jongno Health Walking Event with Companion Dogs at Samcheong Park at 8 a.m. on November 8. The event is designed to give residents an opportunity to enjoy walking with family, neighbors, and their dogs, while also promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The walking course follows the "Jongno Dulle-gil," a trail that encompasses Jongno's historical and cultural landmarks. The 3-kilometer route starts at Samcheong Park, passes through Malbawi Entrance, the summit of Waryong Park, and the rear gate of Sungkyunkwan University, before returning to Samcheong Park. The walk is expected to take about 90 minutes.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with on-site registration and the distribution of water and dog waste bags. From 8 a.m., there will be warm-up exercises and walking posture education. Participants can register via QR code or on-site, with a first-come, first-served limit of 100 people each for those accompanied by dogs and those without.
Side events will include photo booth sessions with companion dogs and CPR training for dogs, providing practical information and raising awareness about pet safety. All finishers will receive commemorative gifts, and prize winners will receive health checkup vouchers and dog food, among other prizes.
Jung Moonhun, Mayor of Jongno District, said, "Whether you walk with family, friends, neighbors, or your dog, or even on your own, I hope you make precious memories and take care of your physical and mental health on the Jongno Dulle-gil."
