The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency participated in Dubai Beautyworld and achieved export consultations totaling 56 million dollars.
The agency announced on November 2 that it had set up the Korea Pavilion at 'Beautyworld Middle East 2025,' held from October 27 to 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and achieved export consultations worth 56.73 million dollars.
Dubai Beautyworld is the largest B2B (business-to-business) exhibition in the Middle East, covering the entire spectrum of personal care, including cosmetics, hair, perfume, skincare, and smart beauty devices.
This year, more than 2,000 companies from 70 countries participated, and the event attracted over 75,000 visitors during its run.
The agency, in cooperation with the Korea Federation of SMEs and Yongin City, operated the Korea Pavilion, which consisted of 21 promising beauty SMEs from the province.
During the exhibition, a total of 736 export consultations were conducted, resulting in 56.73 million dollars in consultation outcomes and export contracts worth 19.27 million dollars.
Kim Hyungon, President of the agency, stated, "Through the unexpectedly enthusiastic local response, we were once again able to confirm the potential of K-beauty in the Middle Eastern market. As the Middle East continues to attract attention as a promising export market despite uncertainties in the global trade environment, we will do our utmost to provide follow-up support so that these consultation results lead to actual contracts."
