Dongwon Group Appoints New CEOs for Affiliates: Yoon Sungno, Lee Jinwook, and Jung Haecheol Named

Strengthening Expertise and Global Expansion
Driving New Business Growth with Young Leadership

On October 31, Dongwon Group announced executive appointments at the CEO level for 2026, including the selection of Yoon Sungno, head of the Packaging Sales Division, as the new CEO of Dongwon Systems Packaging Division.


Yoon, the newly appointed CEO, joined Dongwon Group in 1997 and has held various key positions, including Head of Management Support at Dongwon Construction Industry and Dongwon F&B, as well as Head of Talent Strategy at Dongwon Industries’ holding division. As CEO, Yoon plans to focus on strengthening competitiveness in the food packaging business, including cans, PET bottles, and glass bottles, as well as in new business areas such as aseptic filling beverages.

Dongwon Group has also appointed Lee Jinwook, Head of Strategic Planning at Dongwon Industries, as the new CEO of Dongwon Technology Investment, a subsidiary and corporate venture capital (CVC) arm. Established and registered in 2022 as the first CVC by a general holding company in Korea, Dongwon Technology Investment is tasked with identifying strategic investment opportunities that generate synergy with the group’s businesses and fostering new business growth. Born in 1975, Lee Jinwook is a finance and investment expert who has worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Japan, BNP Paribas, Korea Eximbank, and previously served as CFO of DL Chemical.


In addition, Dongwon Home Food has nominated Jung Haecheol, Executive Director of Overseas Business at Dongwon F&B, as the new head of its China branch. Jung, a global food industry expert who has led the Overseas Business Division at Dongwon F&B, is expected to further strengthen the competitiveness of the company’s seasoning food business. Dongwon Home Food’s China branch produces seasonings, dressings, and sauces, supplying them to Korean food companies operating locally.


A Dongwon Group representative stated, “We have appointed young talents with both potential and expertise as CEOs to enhance the competitiveness of each business division. While expanding our core businesses in fisheries, food, materials, and logistics, we will also actively invest in discovering new growth engines.”
