Fulfills New Product Launch Schedule Immediately After Arrival
Meets with Heads of Major Korean Companies
APEC Speech Scheduled for Next Month
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, arrived at Incheon International Airport on October 30th at around 3 p.m. via a Delta Air Lines flight. This marks his first visit to South Korea in 15 years since 2010.
CEO Huang is visiting Korea this week to attend the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. Although he left the airport without making any public statements, his arrival had already drawn significant attention from the business and industrial sectors. This is due to Nvidia's dominant position in the global artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor market and the strong possibility of expanding cooperation with Korean semiconductor companies.

Previously, on October 28th (local time), at a developer event (GTC) held in Washington, D.C., USA, CEO Huang stated, "There will be an announcement that both the Korean people and former U.S. President Donald Trump will be pleased with," adding, "Looking at Korea's semiconductor ecosystem, every Korean company is a close friend and an excellent partner." This comment was interpreted as a hint at new cooperation plans to be announced during his visit to Korea.
On the afternoon of the same day, he will attend an event in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nvidia's GeForce graphics card launch in Korea. Later in the evening, he is scheduled to have dinner at a chicken restaurant in Samseong-dong, Seoul, with Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, and Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group. Although this is an unofficial meeting, there is a strong possibility that they will discuss specific cooperation in the semiconductor and mobility sectors.
After staying at a hotel in Seoul, he will travel to Gyeongju on October 31st to deliver a speech at a special session of the APEC CEO Summit. Nvidia has also scheduled a separate press conference.
