22 Calligraphy Works and 26 Calligraphy Art Pieces on Display
Held at the Culture and Arts Center for Six Days from November 1
Gwangyang City, located in South Jeolla Province, will hold the special exhibition "A Place to Rest" at the exhibition hall on the second floor of the Culture and Arts Center from November 1 to November 6, 2025.
This exhibition is the fifth special invitational exhibition organized by the Culture and Arts Center this year. It will feature 22 calligraphy works by 11 members of the Calligraphy Division of the Gwangyang Branch of the Korean Fine Arts Association, as well as 26 works by 13 local calligraphy artists.
With the poetic sentiment of autumn, warm sunlight, and gentle breezes filling the air, this exhibition offers visitors the chance to appreciate calligraphy and calligraphy art, where a vast world is contained within small characters. It is expected to provide a moment of relaxation and warmth amid the busyness of daily life.
The exhibition is free of charge, and visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kim Myungdeok, Director of Culture and Arts, stated, "This exhibition will offer a moment to pause and rest your mind amidst the hectic pace of daily life. We will continue to enhance citizens' cultural sensitivity and broaden opportunities to enjoy the arts through a variety of exhibitions in the future."
