The expo serves as a platform to share the achievements of the “Nowon Future Education District Project,” which brings together schools, parents, youth, and the local community, and to promote the values of future-oriented education. Nowon-gu is pursuing this project with the goal of nurturing future talent, led by a partnership between the public sector, private organizations, and educational institutions.

The event will feature six themed zones: ▲Future Station ▲Village Teacher Station ▲Springboard Station ▲Student Council Station ▲Change Begins Station ▲Cheongajang Station, with a total of 105 booths. Each zone will offer a variety of programs, including hands-on activities, exhibitions, and performances.

At the “Future Station,” local youth organizations and the district education office will collaborate to offer activities such as puzzle games, constellation tattoos, and bouncy ball rocket making. There will also be booths promoting the Nowon Future Education District Project and organizations supporting out-of-school youth.

At the “Village Teacher Station,” research clubs of village teachers will provide hands-on experiences like block play, short counseling sessions, and making keyrings, masks, and lip balm pouches. Participants will also learn about carbon reduction through a self-sufficient gardening activity.

The “Springboard Station” will be led by the youth club “Springboard,” featuring activities such as shooting experiences, glow-in-the-dark bracelet making, and drama and film quiz games. At the “Student Council Station,” student councils from local schools will showcase their annual activities and projects from the H.O.T. Student Council Support Project.

The “Change Begins Station” will present the year’s activities from the youth civic engagement program “Change Begins.” Participating youth will introduce cases where they identified local issues and planned and implemented solutions themselves. The “Cheongajang Station” will be led by the youth entrepreneurship project “Cheongajang (Youth Artist Market),” featuring booths selling goods and food made by youth artists.

In addition, there will be a wide array of on-site events, including hip-hop, contemporary dance, and K-pop performances, as well as a train journey-themed photo zone, relaxation areas, and a stamp tour. Participants who collect stamps from all six zones will be eligible to enter a prize draw event.

Mayor Oh Seungrok of Nowon-gu stated, “It is meaningful to share the Nowon Future Education District, built through collaboration among the public sector, private organizations, and educational institutions, in the form of exhibitions and hands-on activities. We will continue to actively support the youth of Nowon so they can pursue their dreams and grow up healthy.”
