Distribution Rate Reaches 97%
Coupons Usable Until November 30
Mokpo City in South Jeolla Province has announced that the application deadline for the 'Second Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' is 6:00 p.m. on October 31, urging citizens to actively participate.
As of October 28, the city reported a total of approximately 190,000 applications, achieving a distribution rate of 97.3%. The city is strengthening its promotional efforts to ensure that citizens who have not yet applied do not miss out on the benefits during the remaining period, and is focusing its administrative resources on operating a 'visiting application service.'
In particular, for socially vulnerable groups such as the elderly and people with disabilities who have difficulty applying online or have limited mobility, staff from local administrative welfare centers are visiting homes in person to assist with the application forms and guide them through the process.
The consumption coupon provides 100,000 won per person, and the usage period is until November 30. Any unused balance after the deadline will be automatically forfeited.
A city official said, "Citizens who have not yet applied must do so before the deadline at 6:00 p.m. on the 31st," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from the consumption coupon through the visiting application service."
