Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Holds Gumi Business Development Council October Meeting

Strategies for Building a Drone and UAM Industry Ecosystem in Gumi City
"Identifying Organizational Risks" as the Main Topic

The Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Yoon Jaeho) held the "Gumi Business Development Council October Meeting" on October 28 (Tuesday) at the Stayder Industrial Complex Hotel. The event was attended by more than 40 participants, including Lim Jeongho, Chairman of the Gumi Business Development Council, members of the council, representatives from the City of Gumi, the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Keimyung University, and other related organizations.

The "Gumi Business Development Council" is a consultative body composed of heads of human resources and general affairs departments from leading companies in Gumi, recognized for their sales and employment scale. It is jointly operated by the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the City of Gumi. Since its inaugural general meeting on March 14, 2023, the council has served as a platform for communication through discussions on business challenges and current issues, benchmarking visits to member companies, special lectures by distinguished speakers, and meetings with related organizations.

During the lecture session, Park Eunmi, CEO of CareerIn and an expert in organizational culture education, was invited to give a talk on the topic "Identifying Organizational Risks." Park emphasized that for companies to achieve growth, it is essential to anticipate risks that arise within groups and to implement "detailed (micro) talent management," which includes designing customized motivation strategies, respecting diverse growth directions, providing psychological rewards, and strengthening organizational culture.

Following the lecture, the Keimyung University RISE Project Group presented on "Industry-Academia Cooperation for Building a Future Air Mobility Industry Ecosystem." Professor Park Jeongsu of Keimyung University discussed "The Defense Industry of North Gyeongsang Province in the AI Era," while Professor Lim Heonyoung presented on "Strategies for Building a Drone and UAM Industry Ecosystem in Gumi City."

Yoon Jaeho, Chairman of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized, "We will spare no effort in supporting the activation of networks among companies that drive the regional economy."
