A Happy Community United by Sharing, Volunteering, and Caring for 11 Years
The Cheongdo County Volunteer Center (Director: Hong Bongok) successfully held the 'Cheongdo Happy Village No.16' creation event on October 28 in Nulmi-ri, Hwayang-eup, with the participation of over 300 volunteers and local residents.

A total of 275 volunteers from 36 organizations affiliated with the Cheongdo County Volunteer Center contributed their talents in various fields, including mural painting, coloring, wallpapering, replacing insect screens, changing mailboxes, knife sharpening, beauty services, longevity photography, sharing of Jajangmyeon, and performance volunteering.
Hong Bongok, Director of the Volunteer Center, stated, "I feel very rewarded that we are able to provide a more beautiful environment for residents through the voluntary participation and sharing spirit of our volunteers," adding, "Our center will continue to do our best to grow together with the local community."
Kim Hasu, Mayor of Cheongdo County, said, "I am grateful to all the volunteers who participated in the event with affection and dedication for the community. We will continue our efforts to lay the foundation for dynamic and sustainable volunteer activities."
Cheongdo Happy Village, which began with its first location in Geoyeon-ri, Cheongdo-eup in 2014, has been improving residential environments and providing various welfare services for 11 years, with the aim of enhancing the sense of welfare and improving quality of life. The project is carried out every year and has now reached its 16th location.
