An unusual part-time job posting that appeared on the secondhand trading platform Danggeun has become a hot topic online. The eye-catching offer of an "hourly wage of 1 million won" and the participation of actor Park Bogum have drawn considerable attention.
On the 28th, Danggeun announced that it will run a large-scale integrated marketing campaign called "Life is Danggeun" for six weeks until December 8. Based on the slogan "All aspects of my life roll with Danggeun," the campaign was inspired by the way people are connected through Danggeun’s diverse services, such as secondhand trading, part-time jobs, gatherings, and local shops.
The "Life is Danggeun" campaign consists of a main campaign video released on Danggeun’s official YouTube channel, as well as a series of relay events linked to each of Danggeun’s services. The relay events feature a variety of programs that highlight the unique characteristics of each service. During the first and second weeks of the campaign, "Bogum's Flower Shop Part-Time Job" from Danggeun Alba and "Calm Man’s General Store" from the secondhand trading service will take place.

"Bogum's Flower Shop Part-Time Job" is an event where participants can meet actor Park Bogum in person for a one-on-one interview and have the chance to earn a part-time wage of 1 million won. Successful candidates will also enjoy special experiences such as taking commemorative photos. Applicants can submit their self-introduction and work experience through the Danggeun app until the 11th of next month. The final successful candidates will be notified individually on the 18th. Upon hearing the news, online users expressed their surprise, saying, "Wait, I get paid 1 million won, not the other way around?" "I thought it was a scam," and "Danggeun’s class is on another level." Some comments even read, "I’d pay 1 million won just to see Bogum."
On the same day, the "Calm Man’s General Store" event will be held, where YouTuber Calm Man will give away items he has worn or used on his actual broadcasts to fans. Users can select the item they want to receive and submit an application message through the app. Winners will be selected by lottery and the items will be sent free of charge. Applications for the giveaway will be accepted until the 11th of next month, and winners will be notified individually via Danggeun chat on the 14th. A Danggeun representative stated, "Through this campaign, we hope users will experience more meaningful connections in their daily lives and local communities."
