"Ensuring Mobility Rights for the Vulnerable"... HiteJinro Donates 11 Vehicles

Continued Support for Mobile Vehicles to Improve Transportation Convenience for Vulnerable Groups
A Total of 91 Vehicles Provided Over 11 Years Since 2015, Including 11 This Year

HiteJinro has completed the vehicle handover ceremony for its "Mobile Vehicle Support Program," which has been ongoing for 11 years.

On October 28, HiteJinro held the vehicle handover ceremony for the Mobile Vehicle Support Program at its Seocho headquarters, with CEO Kim Ingyu and representatives and officials from 10 social welfare organizations across the country in attendance, the company announced on the 29th.

Launched in 2015, the Mobile Vehicle Support Program has been continued by HiteJinro for 11 years to ensure convenient transportation for socially vulnerable groups, such as elderly people living alone and people with disabilities who have difficulty moving. The program is funded by a portion of the prize money from participants in the "HiteJinro Championship" golf tournament, as well as donations from HiteJinro.

To select the recipient organizations for vehicle support, HiteJinro held an open call for social welfare organizations in May, and after a document screening and video review, a final total of 11 organizations were chosen. This year, the company is providing 10 compact cars and 1 van, for a total of 11 vehicles. Including this year's support, HiteJinro will have provided a total of 91 vehicles to social welfare organizations nationwide over the past 11 years.

Kim Ingyu, CEO of HiteJinro, stated, "We donate vehicles every year to provide practical support for improving transportation convenience for vulnerable groups in the local community. We will continue this Mobile Vehicle Support Program so that mobility difficulties do not lead to isolation in daily life."

Meanwhile, in addition to the Mobile Vehicle Support Program, HiteJinro continues to carry out various activities every year under its social contribution value of "Sincerity in Action," including sharing events for the underprivileged during Lunar New Year, Chuseok, and year-end holidays, as well as support for residents of jjokbangchon (shantytown) communities.
