Power Influencer with 2.5 Million Followers
"It Will Be an Incredible Experience"
Former U.S. President Donald Trump's granddaughter will compete in a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour event.
On October 28 (local time), the Associated Press reported, "President Trump's granddaughter Kai Trump will participate as an invited player in the LPGA Tour Annika Driven, which will be held in November." Born in 2007, Kai Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Trump. Starting next year, she will play for the University of Miami golf team. She is also an influencer, with over 2.5 million followers on Instagram and more than 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube.

Kai Trump expressed her excitement, saying, "My dream has been to compete alongside the world’s top players on the LPGA Tour," and added, "It will be an incredible experience to make my LPGA Tour debut and meet such outstanding athletes." However, her golf skills are not considered exceptional. She is currently ranked 461st in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) rankings. In a U.S. junior tournament last March, she finished in last place with a score of 17-over-par.
In February, Kai Trump visited the Genesis Invitational, a PGA Tour event, where she met the tournament host, "golf legend" Tiger Woods. In May, she also appeared at the PGA Tour's The CJ Cup Byron Nelson. The LPGA Tour stated, "Sponsor invitations are an important way to introduce new players and generate fresh interest in the LPGA and its tournaments," adding, "Kai Trump's broad fan base and influence help promote golf to younger generations."
This year's Annika Driven will take place from November 13 for four days in Belleair, Florida. The event is hosted by "golf queen" Annika Sorenstam of Sweden.
