HYBE is set to accelerate its 'multi-home, multi-genre' strategy, which localizes the K-pop production system in various regions around the world.
On October 27, Lee Jae-sang, CEO of HYBE, stated at the International Youth Forum, "We will expand K-pop production know-how tailored to each region's culture to enhance the sustainability of the global music industry."
The multi-home, multi-genre strategy aims to foster new talent and genres based on local artists and cultures. Instead of simply transplanting the K-pop system, this approach focuses on creating locally tailored content in each region.
HYBE already operates subsidiaries in Japan, the United States, and Latin America, conducting business locally. This year, the company also established new subsidiaries in China and India.
Lee added, "I want HYBE's global growth to help develop each region's industry, creating a virtuous cycle where that growth, in turn, benefits HYBE."
