[Weather Tomorrow] Cold Continues Until Wednesday Morning... Temperatures Return to Seasonal Levels in the Afternoon

Morning Lows Expected Nationwide at 0?9 Degrees
Daytime Highs to Rise Up to 20 Degrees

The cold weather will continue until the morning of Wednesday, the 29th. From the afternoon, temperatures will rise, resulting in a greater difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures.

The morning low on this day is expected to range from 0 to 9 degrees Celsius, with the cold spell that began earlier this week continuing. Inland areas, in particular, may see temperatures drop below freezing, leading to frost and ice formation in some places. Dense fog, reducing visibility to less than 1 kilometer, may also develop in inland regions, so commuters should exercise caution in the morning.

During the day, temperatures will return to typical seasonal levels. The prevailing wind over the Korean Peninsula will shift from a northerly to a westerly direction. Due to a migratory high-pressure system moving eastward over the West Sea, strong sunlight is expected during the day, causing temperatures to rise. The daytime high will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Forecasted minimum and maximum temperatures for major cities are as follows: Seoul, 5 and 18 degrees; Incheon, 6 and 18 degrees; Daejeon, 3 and 18 degrees; Gwangju, 5 and 19 degrees; Daegu, 4 and 18 degrees; Ulsan, 5 and 17 degrees; and Busan, 8 and 19 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures are expected to remain at seasonal averages until the last day of this month. After a brief period of rain, temperatures are forecast to fall below average again starting from the first day of next month.
