Gyeongnam Information University held the 9th Gyeongnam Information University President's Cup Sasang-gu Youth Badminton Tournament at the university's Minseok Sports Center on October 26.
The event was attended by Kim Taesang, President of Gyeongnam Information University and co-chair of the tournament, Pyeon Wonjang, President of the Sasang-gu Badminton Association Youth Division, Park Dongsun, Chairman of the Board of Dongseo Academy, Lee Bongsoo, President of the Sasang-gu Badminton Association, as well as university and association officials. More than 200 badminton enthusiasts from 12 clubs in the Sasang-gu area participated and competed enthusiastically.
Now in its ninth year, this tournament is jointly organized annually by Gyeongnam Information University and the Sasang-gu Badminton Association to promote local sports culture and strengthen communication among residents.
In his opening remarks, President Kim Taesang emphasized, "Gyeongnam Information University always strives to give back the love we have received from local residents over many years. We will continue to create opportunities like this tournament to communicate and come together with the community, aiming to become a proud university that contributes to the harmony and development of the local society."
