"Please Visit Yoon and Investigate Election Fraud"
"Human Rights Violated, Gradually Dying in Confinement"
Jeon Hangil, a former Korean history instructor, compared himself to the late American right-wing activist Charlie Kirk and requested that former U.S. President Donald Trump "visit former President Yoon Sukyeol, who is imprisoned for defending liberal democracy." On the 27th, Jeon posted this message on the bulletin board of his YouTube channel under the title, "Jeon Hangil, the Charlie Kirk of Korea who strongly supports President Trump."
Jeon stated, "Former President Yoon declared a state of emergency on December 3 last year to eradicate anti-state forces and protect liberal democracy." He continued, "Unfortunately, he became the target of political retaliation, referred to as a 'purge' or 'revolution,' by the anti-American leftist Democratic Party and President Lee Jaemyung. As a result, he is currently locked in solitary confinement in a detention center, his human rights are being violated, and he is gradually dying." The terms "purge" and "revolution" were previously mentioned by President Trump on his social media ahead of the South Korea-U.S. summit in August.
Jeon Hangil: "Please Correct the Allegations of Election Fraud Involving Chinese Interference"
He said, "If you visit Korea for this APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit, I sincerely hope you will visit former President Yoon, who is imprisoned for defending liberal democracy." He added, "Please also meet Pastor Son Hyunbo, who is being held at Busan Detention Center due to the Lee Jaemyung administration's oppression of churches and religion, and give him your support." He further pleaded, "As officially recorded in the report of the U.S. international election monitoring team, I earnestly ask you to order an FBI investigation to correct the allegations of election fraud in Korea involving the Chinese Communist Party."
Jeon asserted, "Over 90% of freedom-loving Korean citizens support President Trump and are always grateful to the United States Forces Korea and the U.S. government." He continued, "I hope that the blood-forged South Korea-U.S. alliance will become even stronger, so that we can jointly contain China's expansion and defend the liberal democratic system together." The letter was also written in English.
Jeon, who departed for Washington, D.C. on August 25, claimed, "People in the U.S. have suggested that I should seek asylum," but he is currently broadcasting on YouTube from countries such as Japan and Australia.
