Customized Lectures on Early Admission and High School Credit System for Parents
First-Come, First-Served Registration Until November 3
Guro District in Seoul (District Mayor Jang Inhong) will operate the “2027 College Admission Academy for Parents” in response to the changing college admission system and entrance exam environment, targeting parents of prospective test-takers.
This academy will be held in the main lecture hall of Guro Learning Support Center 1, targeting 50 parents whose children are currently in the third year of middle school to the second year of high school within the district. It is a specialized college admission support program offered annually by the district, aiming to help parents accurately understand the latest college admission information and systematically support their children’s career and academic paths.
The program will be held over four sessions from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., covering the following topics: ▲ November 25 - “Preparing for the High School Credit System and Analysis of the 2028 College Admission System”; ▲ November 27 - “Choosing Subjects and Achieving Top Grades for Success in the Student Record-Based Admission”; ▲ December 2 - “Understanding the 2027 College Admission Process and Strategies for Early Admission”; ▲ December 4 - “Creating a Distinctive Student Record through Thematic Inquiry Activities.”
Kim Yongtaek, head of the College Admission Strategy Research Institute and renowned mentor known as “God’s Move,” will serve as the instructor, delivering practical college admission guidance and key know-how that both parents and students can implement together. Parents wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Guro Learning Support Center website starting November 3. There is no participation fee.
Jang Inhong, Mayor of Guro District, stated, “As the college admission system changes every year, it is important to have the right information and be prepared,” adding, “I hope this academy will provide an opportunity for parents and students to plan for the future together and support their children’s career paths.”
