This year's festival transformed a 900-meter, six-lane stretch of road from Sinjeongnegeori Station to Sinjeong 1-dong Post Office into a car-free street. The festival area was extended by 300 meters compared to last year, and customized programs were expanded across 10 themed zones, including hands-on experiences, performances, and parades, so that all generations and families could enjoy the event together.

The festival began with a large-scale street parade featuring more than 500 participants. The parade included a Brazilian samba percussion team and performances by residents from 18 neighborhoods, drawing significant attention. Family-friendly programs such as the children's experience zone "Kids Play Zone" and book talks with renowned authors were also featured. Throughout the street, a variety of experiences and performances were offered, including busking and circus shows, the cross-generational "Youth Road" and "Memory Road," and family caricature drawing.

On the main stage, traditional artists such as Oh Jeonghae and Lee Gwangsu, the founder of Samulnori, drew attention with a traditional arts festival. The event reached its peak with "Taegun Singing Contest" hosted by Park Gun and Na Taejoo, as well as the music concert "Hello Festival" featuring popular singers.

After the inaugural event last year, the district improved the festival experience by addressing congestion and safety issues. Measures included optimizing traffic flow, deploying 330 safety personnel, and doubling the dining area in the food zone, resulting in higher visitor satisfaction.

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, stated, "We prepared this year's festival so that even more residents could participate safely and enjoyably," and added, "We aim to develop the Yangcheon Family Street Festival into a national model for family festivals where all generations can come together."
