The event, held on the 22nd at Mirae Asset Center One in Seoul, brought together major Taiwanese IT and semiconductor companies and domestic institutional investors for in-depth discussions on changes in the global supply chain and industry trends.
It is unusual for a Korean securities firm to officially invite leading Taiwanese IT and semiconductor companies and provide a platform for exchange with domestic institutional investors.
Attendees from Taiwan included Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn), the world's largest electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company; Aspeed Technology, a key supplier of server remote management chips; and Compal Electronics, the world's second-largest notebook ODM company. These three companies, referred to as 'Taiwan Core 3', are collaborating with global big tech firms such as Apple and Nvidia.
From Korea, participants included Mirae Asset Global Investments, Samsung Active Asset Management, Midas Asset Management, Truston Asset Management, Woori Asset Management, Assetplus Investment Management, Yuanta Asset Management, VI Asset Management, DS Asset Management, and Fides Asset Management.
A representative from Mirae Asset Securities stated, "We will provide investors with diverse investment opportunities based on our differentiated global network," adding, "We will continue to expand our cooperation with innovative companies and lead the global investment ecosystem."
