Shinjin Food and Sunhan Tech Newly Certified
Donghae Remicon and Seongdo SDF Recertified
Donghae City in Gangwon Province has selected a total of four companies-including two newly certified firms and two recertified firms-as the final winners of the "2025 Promising Small and Medium Enterprises in Donghae City" competition, which was held to discover and nurture companies with strong growth potential and development prospects in the region.
The city conducted the competition in September and conducted a comprehensive evaluation of each company's creditworthiness, technological capabilities, growth potential, and impact on the local economy. As a result, Shinjin Food Co., Ltd. and Sunhan Tech were selected as newly certified companies, while Donghae Remicon Co., Ltd. and Seongdo SDF Co., Ltd. were selected for recertification.
Since 2008, Donghae City has selected a total of 41 promising small and medium-sized enterprises through 2024, providing various incentives and contributing to strengthening corporate competitiveness and revitalizing the local economy.
Eligible candidates are small and medium-sized manufacturing companies with their headquarters, factories, and representative's address all located in Donghae City, with annual sales of at least 300 million won and at least two years of factory operation after registration. However, companies whose manufacturing specialization rate is less than 30% based on financial statements from the past two years are excluded.
Lim Seongbin, Head of the Economic Affairs Division, stated, "I sincerely congratulate the companies selected as this year's promising small and medium-sized enterprises in Donghae City. For jobs and the local economy to grow together, local companies must grow stronger. I hope that this selection of promising small and medium-sized enterprises will strengthen the growth ambitions of local companies and serve as a foundation for revitalizing the local economy."
