Cheonbuk-myeon in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, is awash in the colors of autumn. The green barley field, known as a filming location for the drama "Our Beloved Summer," and the upcoming Cheonbuk Oyster Festival, which opens on November 15, are drawing significant attention to the region as a must-visit fall destination along the west coast.

According to Boryeong City on October 27, the green barley field in Cheonbuk-myeon is a creatively revitalized space that was once an abandoned ranch. The gently rolling hills and expansive rural scenery have made it a popular "emotional photo zone."

In addition, the warehouse-style building at the top of the hill preserves traces of the old ranch while featuring a cozy and sentimental interior, offering visitors a unique experience.

The charm of the green barley field lies in its ever-changing colors throughout the seasons. In spring, vibrant green barley waves in the breeze; in summer, the barley ripens to a golden hue. In autumn, cosmos flowers bloom abundantly, and the newly created fall flower garden is captivating travelers.

This year, in particular, a large-scale planting of cosmos was carried out after the barley harvest to prevent the area from looking barren, turning it into a representative autumn photo spot.

Cheonbuk Green Barley Field in Autumn Colors: A Romantic Boryeong Journey Filled with Cosmos and Oyster Flavors The Cheonbuk Oyster Festival will be held in Boryeong starting November 15.

The Cheonbuk Oyster Festival, which will be held from November 15, will transform the Cheonbuk-myeon area into a gourmet destination. A variety of dishes made with fresh West Sea oysters-grilled oysters, raw oysters, oyster rice, and more-will be available, along with various performances and hands-on events at the festival site.

Additionally, nearby attractions such as the Seohaerang-gil trekking course, the Milk Warehouse Experience Farm, the Boryeong Embankment, and the Chungcheong Suyeong Fortress make it a popular choice even for day trips.

Kim Dongil, Mayor of Boryeong, stated, "The Cheonbuk green barley field has established itself as a destination offering unique charm in every season. If you visit Boryeong this season, when the autumn cosmos and the oyster festival come together, you will be able to create truly special memories."
