On October 27, Research Arum predicted that Sajo Industries' gochujang sauce and spicy tuna products would gain popularity overseas. Along with a positive stock outlook, the firm suggested a fair stock price of 67,000 won.

Choi Sunghwan, a researcher at Research Arum, explained, "The growing recognition of Korean cuisine and the popularity of spicy ramen have led to increased demand for Korean sauces such as gochujang, ssamjang, spicy sauces, and bulgogi sauce, particularly in the United States, Japan, and China."

He added, "The growth trend of processed foods overseas is expected to have a positive impact on Sajo Industries' canned tuna and sauce product lines. Canned tuna has established itself as a convenient protein food and is now being exported as part of K-food package products along with ramen, kimchi, and various sauces."

He emphasized, "Sajo Industries' main products-canned tuna and sauce product lines-are aligned with the rapidly spreading 'spicy and Korean-style sauce trend' in overseas markets. Spicy tuna, in particular, is gaining popularity in Japan and North America as a convenient meal option for Korean lunch boxes and gimbap."

In the first half of this year, Sajo Industries recorded consolidated sales of 331.5 billion won and operating profit of 27.1 billion won, up 7.9% and 195.2%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

Researcher Choi analyzed, "Sales of processed foods such as canned tuna, fish cakes, and sauces are expected to achieve additional growth, driven by stable domestic demand and increased exports, especially to North America and Southeast Asia."
