Daytime Highs to Range from 9 to 16 Degrees
On Monday, the 27th, as cold air from the north moved southward, temperatures dropped significantly by about 5 to 10 degrees compared to the previous day.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, strong winds are expected in most regions nationwide, making it feel even colder. Cold wave advisories were issued the previous day for parts of Gyeonggi, Gangwon, North Chungcheong, and North Gyeongsang provinces.
As of 5 a.m., the temperatures in major cities were as follows: Seoul 5.6 degrees Celsius, Incheon 5.7 degrees, Suwon 5.7 degrees, Chuncheon 4.9 degrees, Gangneung 10.2 degrees, Cheongju 8.8 degrees, Daejeon 9.6 degrees, Jeonju 9.8 degrees, Gwangju 11.4 degrees, Jeju 17.2 degrees, Daegu 12.1 degrees, Busan 13.6 degrees, Ulsan 10.5 degrees, and Changwon 14.4 degrees. The highest daytime temperatures are forecast to range from 9 to 16 degrees.
Until the morning, less than 5 millimeters of rain is expected on Jeju Island, and between the morning and midday, there may be places in the Chungnam and Jeolla regions where less than 0.1 millimeters of light rain will fall. In the mountainous areas of Jeolla, less than 0.1 centimeters of snow may fall, and some areas may see a slight accumulation of snow.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at a 'good' level across all regions.
Wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea. In the offshore areas, wave heights are expected to reach 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
