Daegu City will hold the 9th and 10th sessions of the mobile women's job fair "Good Job," aimed at women who are career-interrupted or unemployed, over two days from October 28 to 29.
The events will take place at the Dong-A Department Store Shopping Branch in Banwoldang from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 28, and at the Yulha Youth Cultural Street (Yulha-dong, Bangae Park, Dong-gu) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 29.
To make it easier for job seekers to participate, the event on October 28 will be held at the Dong-A Department Store Shopping Branch, just a two-minute walk from Banwoldang Station, while the October 29 event will take place at Yulha Youth Cultural Street, allowing local residents to join as well.
Over the two days, there will be both direct hiring-where candidates are hired on the spot after on-site interviews (5 companies, 11 positions)-and indirect hiring, where job seekers are recommended to companies (21 companies, 57 positions). Available positions include hospital kitchen wiring staff, meal service cooks, social workers, caregivers, health managers, telephone counselors, and simple manufacturing roles, among others.
The five companies conducting on-site interviews are Dear Care, Hi Health Daycare Center, Evidence Implant Co., Ltd., A+ Best Home Senior Welfare Center, and Yeolgyeong Nursing Home. The 21 companies participating in indirect hiring include Muryangsujeon Senior Nursing Home, Yeungnam University Medical Center, Apsan Home Care Center for the Elderly, iCare Dalseo Welfare Center, Cheongchun Nursing Home, Samil Corporate Financial Support Group Co., Ltd., Suseong Jungdong Hospital, Kimshin Nursing Hospital, Haejeong Medical Foundation The Better Hospital, Daemyeong Hue Nursing Hospital, Matjoeun Food Co., Ltd., Hyeonmyeong Co., Ltd., Jeongsan Postnatal Care Center, Innovarh Co., Ltd., Suwol Korean Medicine Hospital, Daekyung TMS Co., Ltd., Shinsegae Hospital, Hwanggeum Nursing Hospital, Ewha Daycare, Pureun Hospital, and Hyosarang Home Senior Welfare Center.
At the event sites, participants can receive a variety of employment support services, including one-on-one customized job counseling, job information for both employers and job seekers, and guidance on vocational training programs. Additional activities will include job preference tests, fingerprint aptitude tests, art therapy counseling, and a campaign to prevent career interruptions. Participants will also receive souvenirs and beverages.
