Just One Week After President-Level Appointments
53 Newly Appointed Vice Presidents
On October 24, HD Hyundai announced a round of executive appointments, including the promotion of seven individuals to Executive Vice President and 20 to Senior Vice President. This follows the earlier announcement of president-level appointments made on October 17.
In this round of appointments, seven individuals, including Senior Vice President Ryu Hongryeol of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, were promoted to Executive Vice President. Twenty individuals, including Managing Director Chung Changhwa of HD Hyundai Site Solution, were promoted to Senior Vice President. Additionally, 53 individuals, including Chief Manager Jang Yongjun of HD Hyundai Oilbank, were newly appointed as Vice President.
An HD Hyundai representative explained, "In light of overall business adjustments across the group and internal and external uncertainties, we are pursuing rapid organizational stabilization while also appointing talented individuals with strong execution capabilities and expertise, particularly to expand our overseas business in markets such as the United States."
Following this round of executive appointments, HD Hyundai plans to hold the '2026 Business Plan Strategy Meeting' in early December, with the presidents of all affiliates in attendance. Through this meeting, the company will finalize its business plan and detailed execution roadmap for the coming year and accelerate the implementation of its future group strategy.
