to Pureun Scholarship Foundation in Ulsan
Supporting Local Youth in Need Through Ongoing Community Contributions

On the 24th, S-OIL Ulsan Refinery delivered a scholarship donation of 20 million KRW to the Pureun Scholarship Foundation at the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office.

The scholarship presentation ceremony was attended by Doyoon Yoo, Chief Prosecutor of the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office; Yunchul Lee, Chairman of the Pureun Scholarship Foundation; Seonghoon Park, Executive Director of S-OIL; and other foundation officials. The scholarship funds delivered on this day will be used to support young people in the Ulsan region who are in need of financial assistance.

Seonghoon Park, Executive Director of S-OIL, stated, "Based on the core value of 'sharing,' S-OIL is conducting various social contribution activities to grow together with the Ulsan community where our business site is located. We will continue to support young people in Ulsan so that they can overcome difficulties and pursue their dreams in a healthy educational environment."

Yunchul Lee, Chairman of the Pureun Scholarship Foundation, said, "Thanks to S-OIL's ongoing interest and support, local youth can have hope for the future and grow up with the right values. We are grateful for your steadfast support as a reliable partner in the community."

The Pureun Scholarship Foundation is a scholarship organization operated by the Ulsan Regional Council of the Ministry of Justice's Youth Crime Prevention Committee. Established in 2007, it provides scholarships to underprivileged youth, multicultural families, and disadvantaged adolescents. Since 2017, S-OIL has donated 20 million KRW in scholarships annually to the Pureun Scholarship Foundation.
