EMRO, the leading artificial intelligence (AI)-based supply chain management software company in Korea, held an investor meeting on October 23 to present the current status and strategies of its global business expansion, as well as its AI-powered procurement solutions.
Since 2024, EMRO has made a full-fledged entry into overseas markets by promoting its self-developed SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia. So far, the company has delivered its solution to a total of three local clients in the North American market, establishing a track record of overseas supply.
Caidentia integrates AI technology throughout the entire procurement process, including quotation analysis, BOM (Bill of Materials)-based collaboration, and supplier quality management, providing a unified system that connects design, sourcing, and partner management.
Ewan Rankin, Head of Global Business at EMRO, explained at the event, "Today, global companies are seeking new procurement solutions that go beyond indirect cost management."
He added, "Caidentia is attracting strong interest from procurement executives and managers at global companies, thanks to its comprehensive direct procurement features that span from the new product development stage, as well as its incorporation of advanced AI technologies such as Agentic AI."
He also stated, "Currently, we are expanding our sales efforts beyond North America to the European market, conducting solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) projects for companies in various sectors, including high-tech, automotive, industrial goods, energy, and life sciences."
Mr. Rankin further emphasized, "The SRM solution market in the United States and Europe is rapidly emerging, with enterprise demand for solution adoption growing explosively."
According to market research institutions, the SRM solution market, currently valued at approximately 10 to 15 billion dollars, is expected to more than double within the next decade.
Mr. Rankin stated, "Based on our strong partnership with Samsung SDS, EMRO will leverage its high reliability, compliance, and technical expertise that meet the requirements of global enterprises to secure a leading position in this rapidly growing market, thereby achieving double-digit growth in cloud-based SaaS revenue."
The event also featured EMRO’s AI-powered BOM (Bill of Materials) automatic comparison and analysis solution, as well as its Agentic AI solution, both of which have recently garnered significant attention in the market.
The AI-based BOM automatic comparison and analysis solution enables the digital transformation of the crucial BOM, which is essential for conducting strategic procurement activities from the early stages of new product development, moving away from traditional Excel-based processes. The core feature is the use of AI similarity analysis technology to quickly and accurately track change histories.
Woo Jeongwoo, Head of the D2S Solution Group at EMRO, introduced, "This solution has been implemented by leading global PC and server manufacturers, not only validating EMRO’s technological capabilities and expertise, but also attracting significant interest from global manufacturing companies where parts and materials account for a high proportion of total manufacturing costs."
Jeon Jin, Head of AI Business at EMRO, who introduced the Agentic AI solution, expressed his expectations, stating, "Agentic AI will become a core technology trend for future supply chains by enabling not only simple work automation, but also data-driven autonomous decision-making and execution, as well as proactive responses to complex scenarios."
