Under the theme of "Building a Future Youth Business Innovation Ecosystem through Global Cooperation," the forum brought together more than 700 young people and innovative entrepreneurs from around the world to discuss the direction of future industries.

In particular, presentations of creative innovation projects by students from Minerva University, known as the "world's most innovative school," drew significant attention. Based on Minerva's educational model, where students learn by solving real-world business and urban challenges, three youth teams were selected for their sustainable solutions: ▲ AI-powered food freshness management innovation ▲ a media project to promote empathy for social issues ▲ AI-based personalized dance coaching.

These teams were awarded scholarships by partner companies such as big data specialist DataStreams and bio company Organoid Science.

At the forum's opening ceremony, the launch event for the "Global AI Digital Culture Content Media Convergence Center (W-Inno Biz Rising Labs)"-which will serve as a future growth hub for Uijeongbu City-was also held. This center is planned as an industrial hub connecting Uijeongbu's young talent with a global innovation network, and will be developed into a "global business cluster" concentrating new growth sectors such as the AI content industry and smart city culture technology.

Through a joint declaration announced by Mayor Kim Donggeun, Minerva University President Mike Magee, and Jung Incheol, CEO of Maeil Business TV, four common goals were formalized: ▲ establishing a future growth hub ▲ building a public-private cooperation model ▲ creating a hub for global youth innovation talent ▲ realizing a sustainable global innovation city.

The highlight of the forum was Korea's first on-site mentoring session on the theme "All About Minerva University." Minerva's core management, Google marketer Megan Cho, Coral Venture Capital's Haruna Katayama, and other alumni and current students visited Uijeongbu in person to share their philosophy of innovative education and global career experiences. Students and parents showed great interest by engaging in Q&A and mentoring sessions to receive direct advice on global career paths and admissions.

Kim Donggeun, Mayor of Uijeongbu, stated, "This forum is a symbolic stage where young people take the lead in urban innovation and marks a historic starting point for Uijeongbu to become a global youth innovation hub. By linking Minerva University's innovative education with future industries such as AI, bio, and digital content, we will realize a new urban model in Uijeongbu where these sectors converge."
