This expo served as a venue for communication and experiential learning, bringing together infants, young children, parents, and daycare center staff to enjoy and learn together. A variety of programs were held throughout the event.
Across the venue, hands-on activities that promoted sharing and participation were offered, including keyring making, toy adoption, and creating personalized medicine bags.
In particular, the 'toy adoption' booth provided a meaningful opportunity for participants to exchange unused toys, learning about the value of resource recycling and the importance of sharing. In the center of the event, various play facilities such as air bouncers, slides, and tunnels were set up, creating a play space where infants and young children could run freely and naturally develop their emotional expression and social skills.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, "This childcare expo was a place for communication and empathy, where children, parents, and daycare centers came together." He added, "We will continue to expand a variety of programs that combine experience and learning, so that Gwangju can become a child-friendly city where children can enjoy learning and growing."
