Re-supplying 615 Vacant Units in 79 Complexes
Recruiting 983 Prospective Tenants for 96 Complexes
Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH) announced on October 24 that it will supply a total of 1,598 redevelopment rental housing units.
This supply targets 615 vacant units in existing complexes that have become available due to tenant move-outs and contract cancellations, as well as 983 units for prospective tenants. The supplied housing units range in size from 20 to 47 square meters of exclusive area, with deposits ranging from approximately 562,000 to 43.49 million won, and monthly rents from about 60,000 to 340,000 won.
Eligibility for general supply requires that, as of the tenant recruitment announcement date (October 24), applicants must be members of a homeless household residing in Seoul. The household's monthly average income must be at or below 70% of the urban worker average (priority group 1: 50% or less, priority group 2: 70% or less).
Households must also have total assets of 337 million won or less, and the value of household-owned vehicles must not exceed 45.63 million won. If the household has a child born (including fetuses and adopted children) on or after March 28, 2023, the income and asset requirements may be relaxed by 10 to 20 percentage points.
Applications can be submitted online or via mobile from November 4 to 7 for priority group registration, and on November 11 for secondary group registration. If the number of priority group applicants exceeds 200% of the available units, secondary group applications will not be accepted.
Applicants who have difficulty using the internet, such as the elderly or people with disabilities, can apply in person at the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Gangnam-gu headquarters from November 5 to 7.
Document screening candidates will be announced on November 25, and successful applicants will be announced on April 23, 2026. Move-in will be possible from June 2026 onward.
