Ongoing Project to Improve Welfare Spaces at Military Hospitals
Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 24th that it held an opening ceremony for the 'H-Lounge' at the Armed Forces Guri Hospital in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, and is continuing its project to improve welfare spaces at military hospitals.
The H-Lounge, named after the initials of 'Hanwha' and 'Hospital', is a military hospital lounge remodeling project that Hanwha Aerospace is carrying out as part of its social contribution activities. The company is sequentially upgrading rest and waiting areas at 12 military hospitals nationwide.

The Healing and Recovery Center at the Armed Forces Guri Hospital is a mental health institution specializing in supporting service members, military personnel, and public officials suffering from depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This improvement project focused on psychological stability and recovery, reflecting the hospital’s unique characteristics. Soft-colored walls and furniture were applied to the corridors and reception area, and a large LED screen and TV were installed in the main lobby on the first floor.
Moon Jihoon, Executive Vice President of Hanwha Aerospace, stated, “We hope that the H-Lounge will help service members find physical and mental stability,” adding, “As a defense company of the Republic of Korea, we will continue to contribute to improving military welfare.”
Hanwha Aerospace has established its fifth H-Lounge, following the launch at the Armed Forces Capital Hospital in 2020, Armed Forces Daejeon Hospital in 2022, Armed Forces Hongcheon Hospital in 2023, and Armed Forces Yangju Hospital in 2024.
